This Journey is personal.
Because it happened to us first.
Journey Health Co wasn't built from a business plan. It was built from lived experience β the hard kind, the kind that changes you, and ultimately, the kind that makes you want to reach back and help others through the same path.
The Story Behind This Site β Luc Gruson, Founder
96 pounds. 20% body fat. A year of hard work β and a lot of learning.
One of the people behind this website has battled weight issues for a long time. Not from a lack of effort β always active, always trying different approaches, always working at it. But the scale wouldn't move the way it should, and the health markers kept telling the wrong story.
In March 2025, that changed. Starting a GLP-1 medication opened a door β but what happened next was the real work. The right nutrition. The right movement. The right mindset. The right support. And the willingness to treat every single day as a new opportunity.
That's 96 pounds lost. 20 percentage points of body fat gone β not just weight, but the right weight. Muscle preserved. Health markers fixed. Energy transformed. And perhaps most importantly β a fundamentally different relationship with food, with movement, and with the body.
But here's what matters most: the work is never done. Over a year in, and every day is still treated like a new day. The nutrition, the mental health, the physical training β all of it is still an active practice. There is no finish line, only a better version of yourself that you keep building toward.
Watch the Interview β Late 2025
A real conversation about the Journey β the wins, the hard parts, and what actually made the difference.
Here's a candid interview from late 2025 β sitting down with a friend to talk honestly about this Journey. No script, no polish. Just real talk about what it took, what surprised us, and what we'd tell someone just starting out.
Paying It Forward
Success means nothing if you don't reach back and bring others with you.
One of the most unexpected and rewarding parts of this Journey has been the opportunity to help others. When people around us started seeing the changes β and started asking questions β something clicked. The knowledge we'd built, the mistakes we'd made, the things that actually worked β all of it became something we could share.
And it worked. People we care about have started their own Journeys. Some are well into theirs. Every single one of them has reminded us why this matters β not just for ourselves, but for the people in our lives who count on us to show up fully. Our kids. Our partners. Our friends. Our colleagues.
